Japanese Prince Akishino and his wife Princess Kiko were accompanied by Dubrovnik Mayor, Andro Vlahusic, on their tour of Dubrovnik’s Old Town today. The royal couple visited the Rector’s Palace where a special performance of folklore was put on for them by Folklore Ensemble Lindo. Japanese tourists holidaying in Dubrovnik were deliughted and surprised to see members of their royal family exploring Dubrovnik and promptly followed them around like Hollywood stars.
Following the performance the couple made their way to the open air market where they admired local produce before visiting the city walls.
