Joey Gallagher recently visited the renowned sea pool in Cavtat, known for producing more Olympians per square meter than any other pool in history, as reported by Academy Waterpolo on social media.
During his visit, Gallagher met the legendary Elvis Fatović, former coach of the Aussie Sharks and current coach of Barceloneta.
While on school holidays in Australia, Gallagher trained with the Jug Water Polo Club under the guidance of local Cavtat coach Miško Babić, a close friend of Elvis Fatović.
According to Academy Waterpolo, Gallagher trained with the new generation of players who spend their entire summer in the sea pool. They suggest that this might be the simple secret behind their success and dominance in the world of water polo.
