Croatia’s new promotional film has been released online
The new promotional video for Croatian tourism, “CROATIA – I hear it’s beautiful”, starring acclaimed actor John Malkovich, has been officially released and is now available to watch online.
The film, created by the Croatian National Tourist Board, presents Croatia through a different, elegant and emotional perspective, with Malkovich, an actor of Croatian roots, at the centre of the story.
A different kind of tourism film
Unlike a classic destination video, “CROATIA – I hear it’s beautiful” relies on atmosphere, emotion and the recognisable voice and presence of John Malkovich. The result is a refined promotional film that presents Croatia not only as a place to visit, but as a country to feel and experience.
The creative direction of the video was led by Pete Radovich, the celebrated television and sports producer of Croatian origin and winner of 45 Emmy Awards.
Premiered in the United States
The video was premiered in the United States during the promotional event “CROATIA IN THE GAME – Tourism. Sport. Culture. Flavors.”, organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Croatian National Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Croatian Football Federation.
The event was held in Alexandria, where the Croatian national football team is based during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Among those attending were representatives of Croatian tourism, sport and diplomacy, as well as the Croatian national football team led by coach Zlatko Dalić and captain Luka Modrić.
