In the 5th round of the European Waterpolo League last night around 1,000 spectators watched Dubrovnik’s Jug team triumph over Greece’s Olympiakos.
The final score was 10:8 (by quarters 4:1, 3:2, 1:2, 2:3) with goals by Jug’s Bošković, Dobud and Azevedo in the first quarter alone. More followed from Marković, Vranješ, Joković and Bušlje. Jug’s goalman Marko Bijač had hi work cut out, successfully blocking six attempts by Olympiakos. The victory keeps Jug at the top of their group table.
