Ana Konjuh, Dubrovnik teen tennis sensation was defeated this morning by German Antoine Lottner in the girls’ singles semi final. Konjuh lost out to Lottner 6:0, 6:1 in Paris meaning her only title chance lies in the girls’ doubles with partner Carol Zhao of Canada.
Fifteen year old Ana didn’t stand much chance against the well prepared German which comes as no surprise given that she has played two matches a day during the course of the competition.
Konjuh and Zhao will play their girls’ doubles semi final match later on this afternoon against Czech pair Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova.
