Less tourists stayed in camps, more in hotels and apartments!

According to statistics noted by tourist board, during September 2014, Dubrovnik-Neretva county recorded around 187,507 arrivals and 872,977 overnight stays, which is 6% more arrivals and 2% more overnight stays than recorded in September last year.

Since the beginning of the year around 1,261,880 arrivals and 5,945,877 overnight stays were registered, which presented an increase of 9% in arrivals, while overnight stays increased for 4% compared to the same period of last year. Arrivals of domestic tourists increased for 8% and number of foreign tourists increased for 4%.

Hotels registered 2.956,754 overnight stays, which was an increase of 2%, private accomodations recorded 2.216,597 overnight stays, which represents an increase of 9%, while camping sites registered 398.422 overnight stays, which was 9% less than in the same period last year.
