Telegraph´s Travel magazine made a list of the best locations in Dubrovnik recommended by their locals. On the list of the most important things that tourists must visit, they have included City walls, Rector’s Palace and Cultural History Museum together with Maritime Museum, War Photo Limited, Dubrovnik Cable Car, day trips to Ston, Korcula, Lokrum, and a lot of festivals and museums.
The journalist Jane Foster noted that most of the main attractions are concentrated in the pedestrian-only old town, within the city walls themselves. Except for seeing city monuments and architecture, Telegraph´s expert guide pointed that one should also not miss Dubrovnik New Year´s celebration, Night of museums in January, St. Blaise´s Day in February and the Carnival in March.
