The prestigious Telegraph has released a list of lesser-known European islands that stand out as paradise destinations for summer vacations, and among them are two Croatian gems: Lopud and Rab.
Lopud is described as an island where you can enjoy undisturbed tranquility and immerse yourself in its beauty while strolling barefoot along its stunning coastline, as reported by tportal.
“In just an hour’s boat ride from the bustling city of Dubrovnik, you arrive at the enchanting small port of Lopud, adorned with honey-colored houses basking in the sun. As soon as the boat leaves the harbor, you find yourself in a peaceful place where cars are not allowed access,” describes the esteemed portal, adding:
“A walk through its wooded hinterland leads you to Šunj Beach, a crescent-shaped stretch of sand and shimmering greenish waters, one of the most beautiful in all of Croatia. Next to it, you’ll find terraces lined with bamboo and a wealth of unassuming bistros along the shore, serving the freshest lobster at a fraction of the price compared to other Mediterranean rivieras,” it highlights.
