Mediterranean Fair of Healthy Food, Medicinal Herbs and Green Enterpreunership will be held from March 14th to March 17th 2019 in the outdoor and indoor facilities of the Hotel Tirena, Babin kuk Dubrovnik.
During the previous years this popular fair has gathered participants, experts, sponsors and enthusiasts, in order to represent, with joint efforts, at least a small part of the abundance of ecological and traditional products from our country.
This specialized event has profiled itself as a very important fair organized in the Republic of Croatia and in
Dubrovnik Neretva county, in the field of ecological, traditional agriculture and other environmental
entrepreneurship. In April 2005, from the Fair has been launched and implemented the idea of declaring Dubrovnik Neretva county as a GMO free county.
At the 15th Mediterranean Fair in 2018, over 200 participants from the Croatia and neighboring Mediterranean countries took part, and the Fair was visited by more than 30 000 visitors. The importance of the Fair has been recognized and the Fair is supported by the President of the Republic of Croatia, Ms Kolinda Grabar Kitarović and some Croatian ministries (Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Regional Development and EU funds), whether by their sponsorship or active participation in the Fair.
This year fair is aimed at the expansion with new products, (hybrid, electric vehicles, eco furniture and clothing made of natural materials), the manifestation of the Days of Honey in Dubrovnik Neretva County, raising the quality of exhibitors performance, as well as raising the quality of environmental and traditionally grown products.
Of course, this year we shall continue with the promotion of the marks “Originally Croatian” and “Croatian
quality” aiming to present high-quality local products and we are preparing a series of educational roundtables,
