National Geographic Traveler Puts Croatia Among Top Three Travel Destinations

National Geographic Traveler (UK) has organized the sixth “Reader Awards”, as part of which the readers of this prestigious magazine ranked Croatia among the top three countries in the category of “best destinations”, according to Darija Reić, director CNTB offices in Great Britain.

“We are extremely pleased and glad that the readers of such a distinguished media paid tribute to the uniqueness of Croatia and thus highlighted our country as one of the destinations that the British are always happy to visit,” said Reić.

The awards were also given in other categories, such as the “best city” category, with Barcelona winning and the finalists being also Amsterdam and New York City, and the “best distant destination” category that was won by Japan, followed by New Zealand and the United States. The list of categories is long and consists of best destinations, tour operators, airlines, and experiences, and was created according to a shortlist of readers of the magazine.
