Dubrovnik has for decades been popular with the A List and celebrities. It would seem that even the wintry weather hasn’t put off one America’s sporting stars from visiting the City. NFL star Larry Fitzgerald who plays for Arizona Cardinals has visited Dubrovnik this week as part of his off season vacation sharing photos from his trip with his fans and followers on Twitter and Instagram.
The 29 year old holds several NFL records including ‘Youngest player to record 700 catches’ in 2012. Larry visited Ljubljana in Slovenia prior to his arrival in Croatia and has continued his trip in to neighbouring Montenegro. With 1.5 million followers on Twitter alone Larry’s posts from Dubrovnik are great advertisement for the city especially in the quieter winter period.
