Dubrovnik sailing club ‘Orsan’ launched its newest vessel, ‘Dubrovnik’ yesterday in a gala ceremony. Club President Marinko Mikulandra welcomed guests and the boat’s godfather, Andro Knezevic to the club’s premises in Lapad.
The 13 m boat is the only one of its kind built in Croatia this year and its arrival marks the club’s 80th anniversary celebrations. Costing 2 million HRK the purchasing of he vessel was no mean feat given the current financial crisis. Take a look at our photo gallery to see it in all its glory.
