Lazareti – Creative Hub of Dubrovnik and Booksa Book Club organized reading and conversation evening with a distinguished author David Mitchell this Sunday in Lazareti.
Having become the New York Times bestselling author of The Bone Clocks and Cloud Atlas, on multiple occasions shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize for novels Number9Dream, Cloud Atlas and Black Swan Green, as well as having his novel Cloud Atlas made into a film starring Tom Hanks, Halle Berry and Hugh Grant, it is no surprise that David Mitchell is one of the foremost literary stars today.
After visiting The Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (September 21st at 6 PM) and his meeting with fans together with Turkish journalist and author Ece Temelkuran at Booksa Book Club (September 22nd at 8 PM), Mitchell arrived in Dubrovnik, where he discussed the relationship between literature and travel with the most prominent literature promoter in Croatia, Miljenka Buljević, as well as with dear guests of this lovely evening. And he couldn’t hide his impressions about our town!
