The 7th edition of Aklapela festival, which nurtures original klapa multipart singing, will take place until 8th of April 2018 in Lazareti and our Cathedral. Last night, many a capella song lovers, enjoyed in the first evening of this prestigious musical festival.
The festival is recognized by UNESCO as part of the world’s non-material cultural heritage. Over the past years, the festival has welcomed many renowned klapa groups from all over Croatia. The festival is held under the artistic direction of maestro Joško Ćaleta, one of Croatia’s most renowned music authorities.
This year’s Aklapela hosts twelve renowned klapa multipart singing groups: Ankora, Cesarice, Kapric, Kampaneli, Kaše, FA Linđo, Pasika, Porat, Reful, Skontradura, Subrenum and Stine.
