Shaking hands with passersby. She was welcomed like a movie star, everybody wanted to see her, some were screaming and Spanish tourists were booing her, but Merkel kept a smile on her face.
She then entered the Rector’s Palace, where she held a meeting with the leaders of countries in the region, on the topic of regional consolidation of these areas.
Due to the arrival of the world’s most powerful woman, high security measures were taken in the city and the Palace was closed to the public.
Although it was previously announced, the German Chancellor and the most powerful woman in the world, Angela Merkel, hasn’t decided to go for a walk down Stradun.
Obviously, the security measures were too strict, and eventually she sneaked out the back of the City Administration, and continued to the door of Ploce, where a car was waiting for her to take her to the airport.
