To the delight of many sport fans, the long-awaited Triglav regional water polo league has began. The first match was played in Split, and it has opened an exciting season. For the first time there will be clubs from Serbia playing in the league.
Heroes from Dubrovnik, players of Jug CO, have been training hard over the past few months. It has been proven in their game against Mornar Brodospas from Split, which they won by 16:8.
‘We joyfully welcomed the start of the new league. We invite all fans of water polo and those who are about to become fans to support us during this season. We promise them interesting ‘battles’ in the pool, but also many attractive activities beside the games’, said the captain of Jug CO, Marko Bijac.
The Triglav regional water polo league will host 15 clubs, among those Croatian clubs: HAVK Mladost, VK Jadran, VK Jug CO, VK Medvescak, VK Mornar BS, KLA POSK and VK Primorje EB.
