In Winter, Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic and one of the most beautiful cities of the Mediterranean, turns into a Christmas tale while thousands of Christmas lights and decorations enhance its magical beauty. This unique holiday experience is enriched by the Dubrovnik Winter Festival – a project of the City of Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik’s public cultural institutions, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and public companies, featuring a variety of cultural and entertainment events organised at various locations in the Old City and other parts of Dubrovnik from the beginning of Advent until New Year. Top musicians on the world’s most beautiful stage and impressive fireworks at midnight will ensure an unforgettable beginning of 2020. But, before that, let’s start from the very beginning – the magical opening of this year’s Dubrovnik Winter Festival.
With the lighting of the 1st Advent Candle symbolizing HOPE and opening ceremony and holiday illumination switch-on, people of Dubrovnik and our guests enjoyed the fabulous concert of The Frajle, four amazing ladies that held a concert to remember this Saturday.
This Sunday @ 11 am, Christmas workshop ‘Christmas Tree Garlands’will be held in the Bunić-Kaboga Summer Villa. This is the art workshop by the artist Ivona Šimunović for children up to 12 years of age, organized by the Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
