Photo Gallery: Everything You Need to Know About the Filming of Robin Hood

Robin Hood is all set up! Filming will start this Monday, and will last until March 6.

On this occasion, a press conference will be held in Hotel Argentina this Saturday @ 11 am. Speakers will be Minister of Culture Nina Obuljen Koržinek Minister of Tourism Gari Cappelli, director of the Robin Hood: Origins Otto Bathurst and operative producer of the film E. Bennet Walsh. They will announce the official beginning of the filming and later visit the set itself.

The City of Dubrovnik, in collaboration with production companies Pact Media and Lionsgate, informs the public about planned shooting and special conditions that will apply from time to time, for both pedestrians and vehicles. There will be as less as possible distractions during the filming in the Old Town, with occasional traffic regulations.

Monday:
All activities will take place at the eastern entrance to the historical center – the area of ​​the Ploče Gate, Trg Oružja, on the stone bridge in St. Dominika Street, and Posat – from 10 am to 6 pm. This area will be closed to vehicle traffic from 9 am, except for emergency vehicles and emergency services, with the periodical stops for pedestrians.
Special note refers to the deliveries which will have to leave the historical center until 9 am.

Tuesday:
Filming continues in Posat from 7 am to 8 pm.

Wednesday and Thursday:
Location of the filming – St. Dominika Street and the brigde under the Revelin fortress, from 5 pm to 5 am. All the veichles (except emergency vehicles and emergency services) won’t be able to pass trough.

Friday:
From 3 pm to 3 am filming will take place on several locations: Ploče Gate, Trg Oružja, St. Dominika Street, Pile Gate (park) and Stradun.

Second week:

At the beginning of the second week of shooting, next Monday (February 27) shooting locations are Kneža Hrvaša Street, Buža Gate and Stradun form 7 am to 7 pm.

Filming will last for three days on Stradun: on 28 February, and again March 1 and 4; all from 7am to 7pm. Pedestrians will be directed to the Puča Street.

Filming will also take place in Posat – March 2, 3, 6. There might be some changes in filming programme – stay tuned!
