Photo Gallery: Moments From the ‘Tomo Udovičić’ Tournament

The tournament ‘Tomo Udovičić’ for all younger water polo players and fans marked the after Easter week in Dubrovnik. The event was organized for two categories, U-12 (born in 2007 and younger) and U-14 (born in 2005 and younger), while the ‘grand finale’ was held this Sunday.

In the competition up to 14 years old, the young Jug players set themselves on the third place, while Roma VIS Nova players came to the first place.

In U12 category, the first place was won by young Jadran Carina water polo players from Herceg Novi.

‘Tomo Tournament’ is held in memory of a big man and a huge water polo lover, Tomo Udovičić, a legendary coach and devotee of water polo who has been raising generations of water polo players. Many of them became national, European, Olympic and world-class players.

The tournament brings together dozens of teams from Croatia, Italy, Spain, France; Germany, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, Slovenia, Netherlands and even Singapore, Australia and United States. There are two competing groups: U-12 — young water polo players up to 12 years; and U-14 — players up to 14 years.
