Photo Gallery: On the First Boat to Lokrum Island

This Saturday, the Public Institution Lokrum Reserve finally opened its doors for this season, and many locals could hardly wait to set sail on their favorite island to enjoy the nature, the sea and the peace this natural reserve gives to the visitors.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year the Reserve was forced to open the season a little later for visitors and the rules are a bit different. Only a limited number of people can board the ship, and hand disinfection is mandatory upon entry, as well as on arrival on the island. Passengers are arranged on the ship with the prescribed distance and the seats are accurately marked.

Boats currently run every hour, the first departure is at 10 am and the last at 6 pm. Visit the island and enjoy its many hidden gems, as well as the beautiful reconstructed Botanical Garden.
