The traditional concert on the occasion of World Tourism Day, organized by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, was held this Friday in front of the cathedral.
The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Marc Tardue, has prepared a rich program of film, popular and Latin music at the already traditional concert to mark World Tourism Day. The theme tunes and popular songs from well-known films such as The Godfather, Memoirs of a Geisha and The Scent of a Woman, while Latin hits featured trumpet soloist, Džemal Cakić. The musicians were also joined by Nevio Končić, who sang several well-known love songs, such as ” Što to bješe ljubav”, “Romance” and “Your Song”.
