World Car Free Day, celebrated worldwide on September 22, encourages motorists to give up their cars for a day.
This important event is market in Dubrovnik too, organized by Dubrovnik’s Association of Traffic Safety (Sigurnost u prometu), Dubrovnik Development Agency and RC Car Models.
‘Day Without a Car’ marks the end of the ‘European Week of Movement’. Croatia is involved in marking the ‘European Movement Week’ in which 749 cities and 152 million inhabitants participate.
