Polish President Andrzej Duda Enjoyed Konavle’s Nature and Food

Andrzej Duda, sixth Polish president since the elections in 2015, visited Konavle this week.

He enjoyed long walk along the river Ljuta, river’s watemills and had lunch at the famous restaurant Konavoski Dvori.

Widely known Esculap delicacies – smoked trout, eel, salmon, marinated shrimps, anchovies, lamb under the bell (peka) and famous cake from Dubrovnik, rozata – were served along with the amazing chilled Stagnum Rose.

The distinguished guest was particulary impressed by the ‘fairy tale like’ atmosphere af Konavle and parts of protected landscape of nature.
