Extra support is available from 1 July to 31 August
During the peak summer season, members of the Dubrovnik Red Cross will once again be stationed at several key locations in and around the Old Town, offering basic assistance to visitors and residents. According to the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, the seasonal setup runs daily from 1 July to 31 August 2025, between 9 am and 7 pm.
Where to find them
The published locations for the 2025 season are Lokrum 1, Lokrum 2, Minčeta, Sv. Klara, Sv. Ivan and Sponza, with a separate first aid coordinator contact also listed. The Tourist Board’s notice says the Red Cross teams are equipped with basic medical supplies, making them a useful point of contact for minor issues during the busiest part of the day.
A practical piece of summer information
For visitors, this is one of those small but very useful bits of Dubrovnik summer information. In a city where heat, long walks, stone streets and crowded public areas can all take their toll, knowing that Red Cross support is available at central points can make the stay feel a little easier and better organised. This is an editorial inference based on the stated locations, opening hours and summer conditions in the city.
Part of a wider seasonal support system
The Tourist Board’s 2025 programme also shows that the city participates in the “Red Cross in the City” project as part of its destination quality management activities, confirming that this is not an ad hoc summer measure but part of a broader seasonal support structure.
