According to the eVisitor system, Dubrovnik achieved record results during the 2018 – 1 271 657 arrivals in total, which is 8 percent more, and 4 138 023 nights, 4 percent more than during the 2017. Of the total number of tourists, from 1 January to 31 December 2018, 687,555 guests were in 51 Dubrovnik hotels, making an increase of 6 percent in hotel accommodation compared to 2017, and there were 2 195 961 overnight stays – 3 percent more than last year.
In 2017, private accommodation 436 349 guests arrived making an increase of 12 percent compared to 2017, with 1 478 742 overnight stays, which is 9 percent more.
The top list of 2018 tourists coming to Dubrovnik is traditionally led by guests from the United Kingdom, USA, Germany, France, Spain, Croatia, Australia, Italy, Finland and Canada.
New Year was celebrated in Dubrovnik by 5 088 guests. According to the structure of the guests there were mostly from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Italy, USA , Germany, Portugal and Canada.
During the whole of December 2018, tourist arrivals were at the level of the previous year, ie 20 961 tourist arrivals and 48176 overnight stays (3 percent more than in 2017).
In December, most guests were from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, USA, Korea, Austria, Albania, China, the United Kingdom and Japan.
