The exhibition of the great artist Salvador Dali opens in Dubrovnik on the 12th April. In the foyer of St. Clare, at 7 pm, Dali’s unique work from ‘Biblia Sacra’ and ‘The Divine Comedy’ will be presented to the public. This exhibition will be a unique presentation of graphics from Dali’s two most extensive periods, brought to Dubrovnik by famous world-renowned Slovenian gallerist David Rjazancev. The exhibition also has the specific educational character; through the exhibited works the visitor will see the content of the Bible and Dante’s ‘Divine Comedy’ through this artist’s perspective.
Because of the techniques used these works occupy a special place in Dali’s creativity. Therefore is not surprising that this exhibition includes diverse works: a selection of over 130 prints from Dali’s oeuvre from 1964 and 1967; a decomposition of wood carving of ‘Divine Comedy’, 70 graphic prints and Dali’s statue of Dante Alighieri.
This exhibition was presented in several cities all over the world and seen by over 100 thousand visitors so far.
