A mesmerising sunny day, fresh oysters from Ston and a glass of a perfectly cool white wine were alluring enough to attract many people to visit the Ston Oyster Festival on the Stradun today.
Braća Lazić Brijesta, Školjkarstvo Mušula Stupa and Marikultura Mario presented their offer to all that were willing to try the delicious oysters and wines of the Peljesac peninsula not far from Dubrovnik’s Old Town. The festival was a result of the successful cooperation between Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Dubrovnik City Council and Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
Fresh oysters with a squeeze of lemon juice and a glass of Plavac Mali, originating from Trstenik on Pelješac made for the perfect combination in the sun.
The entire event was made even more memorable by a performance by vocal group, Klapa Adriatic.
