Time flies so fast! This Sunday is the grand finale of the ‘Good Food Festival 2016’, and it will be marked with the big and important events.
First and the most important one, charity Dubrovnik Table, starts at 11 and is a great way to meet many restaurants and buffets at once. Food vouchers cost 35, and vine vouchers 15 Kunas. Visit Stradun and see the biggest table all the way down our beautiful main street!
At 10 am there will be workshop on ‘fave dei morti’ – preparing traditional sweets as part of the Year of Saint Blaise at Deša Association in Lazareti.
At 11 am, in Sponza Palace Atrium Blato on Korčula and this town’s tradition will be presented with a Kumpanjija programme or traditional sword dance of Korčula, all together named ‘Legend of the Lumblija’– a famous cake.
Because of its ingredients, lumblija is a long-lasting cake – the older – the better, tastier. Lumblija is a gift to the family, friends, loved ones… And the name comes from the French ‘N’oublies pas – Do not forget me’.
At 7 pm, in Rixos Libertas hotel you can enjoy ‘Gala Dinner of the Land of Legends Theme Park’, promotional five-course charity dinner with an entertainment programme. Enjoy the intriguing combinationof Mediterranean and Turkish cousine.
