May in Dubrovnik means – summer! It is the period of the year when temperatures are rising, so it is understandable that this is the period when we are very impatient, just waiting for the ‘first swim in the sea’!
Tourists are in the Old Town, everybody is on the beaches, clothes are getting more comfortable, days are longer… And the weather is spectacular.
Average temperatures reach a very pleasant high of around 21°C (70°F) and reach a low of a 11°C (51°F). During June, this temperatures will go higher and higher, so make sure to drink plenty of water and wear hats and sunscreen during the day!
