The Telegraph, Thomson Holidays and Disney Love Dubrovnik

It’s been a week of great press for the city of Dubrovnik, featuring prominently in  British newspaper The Telegraph, in Thomson Holidays’ travel blog and Disney Cruise’s video guide.

The Telegraph newspaper highlights Dubrovnik in its Croatia summer guide: 2014. Written by Jane Foster who splits her time between Dubrovnik and Athens, she lists the reasons why Croatia is such a great holiday choice, ”…with its stunning coastline, unspoilt nature (including eight national parks) and beautifully-preserved centuries-old harbour towns, it offers a less commercial take on the sun, sea and sand holidays you would expect in Greece or Spain.”

Thomson Holidays’ piece by Jenny Childs titled ‘Urban Romance In Dubrovnik‘ states, ”As a romantic destination, Dubrovnik is starting to give Paris and Rome a run for their money.” Childs tells of the beautiful drive from the airport to the city and warns readers that not falling in love with Dubrovnik is impossible, ”First impressions? It’s a dead ringer for a Royal Shakespeare Company set.”

And finally, Disney Cruises added Dubrovnik to its list of ports in Summer 2013 and has produced a video guide with their Disney Parks Mom’s Panel. ‘Exploring the Wonders of Dubrovnik‘ is a short 2 and a half minute video with lots of useful information on what to see and do when visiting the Old Town for just a day.
