THE FLOATING LUXURY OF THE ROYAL FAMILY ‘Prince Abdulaziz’ in the Port of Gruž

The head turning mega yacht ‘Prince Abdulaziz’, owned by the Saudi royal family, sailed into the port of Gruž and spent some valuable time resting and refreshing until continuing her journey along the Adriatic.

Custom built by the Danish yard Helsingor Vaerft in 1984 to a Maierform Maritime exterior design, Prince Abdulaziz presents 147 metres of pure luxury, owned by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, the brother of King Fahad who had it built and named it after his son.

Prince Abdulaziz is the largest yacht built in the 20th century, and she held that title until the extravagant Dubai began to sail the world’s seas in 2006. She’s capable of carrying up to 65 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience and besides the remarkable interior she’s rumoured to carry surface air missiles and underwater surveillance systems.
