The Mirror: Croatia Will Reopen to Brits as Soon as UK Restrictions Are Lifted

The renowned British daily The Mirror, followed by around 32 million readers a month, published an article stating Croatia will be open to British visitors after easing travel restrictions in the UK, which is expected after May 17, the director of the CNTB Representation in London Darija Reić reported.

Among other information important to British travellers, the article states that the British could soon travel unhindered to Croatia if they meet one of the prescribed conditions – submit proof of vaccination, negative PCR or antigen test or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 not older than 180 days. The author of the article additionally states that, in addition to a short tourist stay, the British can spend the whole year in Croatia, using a “visa” for digital nomads. The information about the new measures when entering Croatia is also published by the British The Independent, Express and travel platforms TTG Media and Travel Weekly.

The Croatian National Tourist Board in London, in cooperation with the British Guild of Travel Writers, organized an online press conference presenting projects and campaigns such as Safe stay in Croatia and a campaign for digital nomads, that attracted about 30 journalists who write for popular and renowned tourist publications such as Conde Nast Traveler, National Geographic, Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, Wanderlust, International Traveler and others.
