The first Dubrovnik’s Good Food Festival starts tomorrow, and along with an array of culinary events, it also offers a new, special map of the town – The Sweet Tooth Map!
The Sweet Tooth Map is the new, creative product of Dubrovnik Tourist Board. It is a map of town on which you can find all the restaurants, cake shops and other types of eateries that offer desserts that have made them recognizable.
The following desserts have found their way to The Sweet Tooth Map: Spicy orange ice cream prepared by The Dolce Vita cake shop, Cheesecake by DubravkaRestaurant, DubrovnikRestaurant’s Dark chocolate semifreddo, Vanilla chocolate festival cake made by FestivalCafé. GradskaKavana will offer the renowned Almond and cream cake and Ston cake, while Gusta meRestaurant on Ploče offers another original cake from Dubrovnik– Almond, walnut and orange cake. Honey-glazed pannacotta will be available in the Jezuite Tavern, while KopunRestaurant will be preparing Dubrovnik rozata (custard pudding) with the chef’s secret ingredients. The Primorje style carob cake made by MimozaRestaurant must already be many a visitor’s favourite, while Nishta vegetarian restaurant on Prijeko offers Figs in prosecco. You can try Chocolate cake in Proto Restaurant or Chocolate hazelnut cake in Pupica cake shop. Ragusa Restaurantowned by the Rudenjak family offers the best homemade Apple and cheese strudel, and the delightful Rosario will thrill you with their Almond and orange cake.
All the gourmands and those who like chocolate and the traditional favours of Dubrovnik will certainly enjoy this festival, so get your copy of The Sweet Tooth Map in the tourist offices of Dubrovnik Tourist Board and prepare to take this sweet tour!
