The Swimming Season Has Already Begun in Dubrovnik

With temperatures around 24°C, fuller beaches and sea at 18°C, Dubrovnik has already entered its first real summer mood

Beautiful spring weather marked the whole weekend in Dubrovnik, and by Sunday it was already clear that the city had slipped into its first real summer rhythm. With air temperatures hovering around 24°C, the city felt lighter, sunnier and unmistakably more relaxed.

The beaches had already started to fill up, and the first swimmers were back in the water. Dulist captured that change in mood with photographs from Banje Beach, just beside Dubrovnik’s historic centre, where the first real beach feeling of the season could already be felt.

The sea temperature today reached around 18°C, which for the braver among them was more than enough to enjoy the first true pleasures of summer.

Even if the calendar still says spring, in Dubrovnik a warm weekend like this is often enough to say one thing clearly: the swimming season has already begun.
