The quietest and the most beautiful rally in the world ‘Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia 2019’ will this year start from Novi Vinodolski on May 12 and end on May 19th in Zagreb with a spectacular race in the street near the National and University Library. From 13 to 16 May the teams will visit Dubrovnik and its surroundings.
The rally is being held for the sixth years in a row, it will last for 8 days, during what time 50 teams will take a 1,500 km long route through the beautiful Croatian landscapes with a numerous attractions on the route. Most of the participants whom are Swiss and German, Austrians and Scandinavians who have never been to Croatia before, and this rally will be their first contact with our country.
“No location on the rally’s route was chosen accidentally, but with the aim of showing the best of Croatia”, says Tina Kolovrat from E.V.A. Blue d.o.o., the organizer of the Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia. The rally was established in 2014, under the auspices of the City of Zagreb, which is in line with recent global trends and recognizes the importance of education and development of electric vehicle infrastructure and their use within the city center in order to reduce CO2 emissions and noise, as well as for the numerous other benefits that come with electric vehicles.
