Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, has passed away. We reminisce about her enjoyment in Dubrovnik

The iconic singer passed away on Wednesday at her home in Switzerland after a long illness, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Tina Turner, the queen of rock ‘n’ roll, was 83 years old and peacefully passed away in her home.

Let’s take a moment to recall the time when this global music icon visited Dubrovnik in 2012, capturing the attention of our photographers. After landing at Dubrovnik Airport, she headed to the Gruž Port where she boarded the mega yacht ‘Lady Marina,’ owned by Sergio Mantegazza.

“The city is beautiful!” said a visibly cheerful Tina at the time, who greeted our photographers from the yacht and sang ‘Summertime’ as a fitting tribute.

Although her birthday was still a month away, the hosts on the yacht showered Tina with numerous gifts, including a bottle of Chateau Leoville Poyferre Saint Julien wine, a golden microphone, a short dress in her favorite leopard pattern, sunglasses in the colors of the American flag, and a handbag…

Her time in Dubrovnik in 2012 was truly memorable. Rest in peace, great Tina.
