International Nurses Day, or IND, was celebrated in Dubrovnik, too!
Lovable nurses measured the pressure and sugar level in blood, and a lot of people came to this action. As the main person of Public nursing in Dubrovnik Tereza Stjepović said, nurses were happy to see a lot of people stopping by to check ‘what is going on’, as this is clearly the sign of appreciation.
Also, all expectant mothers and mothers with small children received some gifts, like baby food, wet wipes…
This day marks the importance of contributions nurses make to society, and is celebrated every year since 1965.
