Dubrovnik definitely lives up to it’s billing as one of the world’s top travel destinations. We got to Croatia’s wonder city in the heart of fall which actually meant that we basically had Dubrovnik all to ourselves – says traveller and photographer Brendan van Son, whose beautiful reportages can be found on his blog.
Well, throughout much of the year Dubrovnik, and Croatia in general, is swarmed with tourists and a mass number of cruise ships, this time of year it’s really quiet. It was incredibly nice having the old town all tow ourselves. As you can probably see from the footage, Dubrovnik is actually quite peaceful this time of year, says Brandon. On his visit to the city, we wandered through the old town, hiked around the city wall, and did quite a bit of photography.
He also did a lot of time lapse footage of Dubrovnik to tie it all together!
