Car-Free Day was held today in Dubrovnik! Thanks to the association ‘Sigurnost u prometu’ (Traffic Safety), City of Dubrovnik and its development agency DURA, one special tour was held.
Named ‘Đir za grad’, the bike tour took place from Pile Gate, main entrance to the Old Town, all around the streets of Dubrovnik, then back to the Old Town from the other side – Ploče Gate, and the finish was near the Sponza Palace, where all the cyclists gathered, both recreatives and professionals, such as cycling team ‘Konavle’.
A Car Free Day is organized worldwide, and it promotes the healthy life along with the development of better lifestyle, not only by giving up on car rides, but also to take better care of yourself and planet as well.
