Video & Photo Gallery: From and To Philadelphia

After many years of negotiations by the Dubrovnik Airport, one of the most important lines for Dubrovnik Airport arrived this week – the direct line from Philadelphia to Dubrovnik. The flight will take place three times a week until the end of September.

Before that, a director of American Airlines for the EMEA area, Mr Tom Lattig, said that he is satisfied with the business decision of the company to introduce a direct flight from Philadelphia to Dubrovnik, pointing out that American Airlines is the largest US airline company and the Philadelphia is the base where more than four hundred airplanes arrive daily, making it the excellent hub for this overseas line.

And how did it go? Very well! The Boeing 767-300ER arrived this June 7th at 6.10 pm local time from the international airport of Philadelphia and the journey took more than 9 hours.

The flight Dubrovnik – Philadephia is the only regular airline between Croatia and the United States. The tourists will be able to travel three times a week to Boeing 767-300 aircraft from June 8 to September 29, 2019, and the fourth flight will be added in September following the customer demand. PHL is the largest US hub in the northeastern United States with over 420 daily flights to more than 120 destinations throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. It is expected that the number of Americans arriving in our city will increase by 15 to 20 percent.
