With today’s Candle Mass, Kandelora, Dubrovnik officially opened 1051st Festa. Tomorrow is the most important day for the citizens of our town, the Feast of St. Blaise and the Day of the City of Dubrovnik – Festa.
Forever written, in 2009, as the UNESCO world heritage, Festa makes a direct connection with the tradition and history of Dubrovnik, reflected in each segment of this celebration.
Festa is followed by many organized events dedicated to the Dubrovnik patron saint, who keeps Dubrovnik on his outstretched palm.
