The Rotary Club Dubrovnik, together with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, organized the traditional ‘Towards Christmas’ concert for the good deed @ the church of the Friars Minor.
Mezzo-soprano Terezija Kusijanović, vocalist Maja Grgić and Klapa Kaše performed with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Mo. Marc Tardue. Besides works by local authors, the audience enjoyed in the compositions by César Frank, George Friedrich Händel, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Mel Tormé, Robert Burns and Georges Bizet.
Money collected during the concert will be used to buy olive seedlings that will be donated to the inhabitants of the Dubrovačko Primorje Municipality, on the occasion of the twenty years of the olive growing campaign in the Dubrovnik area.
