A Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg is the new owner of Hotel Belvedere!

Hotel Belvedere in Dubrovnik has been sold at the public auction for slightly more than 12 million euros. The official buyer is the company Vila Larus, or better said Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg. The second auction in line had been held at Jozica Matko Ruzdjak’s notary office with a starting price of 24 million euros. That price has then been cut in half and the Hotel Belvedere sold to one sole bidder.

The new owner, Vekselberg, is known as the owner of former Labyrinth. Other than that he owns one of the greatest private collections of Farberger’s eggs, that he presented in Dubrovnik, and another Villa in Lozica.
