Filming Europe, the Association of European Film Commissions promotes for the first time in history the award for the best European location in Cinema and TV industries. Among many beautiful cities are two from Croatia – Kaštel Gomilica (Kaštilca) and, of course, Dubrovnik!
The reason is Game of Thrones filming in our town, worldwide known as King’s Landing.
Here’s what Cineuropa writes about the award:
The award is part of the 10th Anniversary celebration of the Association and aims at celebrating the diversity and multifaceted nature of European locations.
During the first phase, each Filming Europe member candidated one location from its Country and a jury of experts selected by Cineuropa, nominated the final shortlist.
Now in this second phase the audience has the chance the vote the best location among the 11 in shortlist, by simply filling the online form. You have time from 11 September to 25 October.
And that’s not all: among all voters, Filming Europe and Cineuropa will draw a winner who will have the chance to visit the winning location! The winner will benefit on 2 nights accommodation for 2 people, which will be offered and used in agreement with the film commission of that area.
Don’t loose the occasion to vote (here) and win a journey to the best Cinema location in Europe!
