This Saturday was also reserved for Župa Carnival – one of the oldest masquerade traditions in Croatia and region. Always innovative and a bit sharp in their messages, residents of Župa dubrovačka and their guests arrived on Stradun with some ‘serious messages’ – sending them to politicians, current economical situation, tourism leaders… Colorful costumes and witty messages – that is the symbol of this Carnival.
