Ana Konjuh’s US Open success keeps growing. The Dubrovnik teen tennis star has made it through to the junior girls’ doubles quarterfinal with her German partner Antonia Lottner todayhaving beaten theirs second round opponents 6:2, 6:2.
The pair defeated Katherine Lp of Hong Kong and Szabine Szlavikovics of Hungary in just 48 minutes. Italian/Serboan pair Alice Matteucci and Nina Stojanović await Konjuh and Lottner in the quarterfinals.That match willtake place following Konjuh’s singles match against American Catherine Cartan Bellis who is ranked 450 in the junior girls world rankings.
