Australian fell from the 14-metre high rock on Buža

On Monday at about 15.00 pm, a 19-year-old Australian walking on the rocks at Buža rocky beach with his friends slipped and fell on another rock and was badly but not fatally injured.

The injured Australian was swiftly transported by the Police boat and ambulance to Dubrovnik General Hospital for treatment. The young man hurt his legs, and the spokesperson of Dubrovnik-Neretva Police Department, Ms Marija Gjenero, said it was still not determined whether he was under the influence of alcohol.

In the past two years, the same spot, a 14-metre high rock at Buža, was fatal for two Australian Young women.
