Sailing on the Orka boat, journalists and guests were invited to become fishermen for the day as part of the travel agency’s latest offer. After climbing aboard in Gruž harbour, Orka set sail for the Elafiti islands and the island of Mljet. Upon reaching the small island of St. Andrew the nets were lowered and the real fishing began. Guests helped retrieve the catch with the crew chatting and learning about the skills involved and the local area.The boat then set sail for the beautiful Saplunara beach where they docked to swim and prepare lunch from the fresh catch. After a hearty lunch and swim in the crystal blue sea, guests returned to Gruž harbour in the late afternoon, having lived like Croatian fishermen for the day.
