The humanitarian Cake Party was held in front of the Orlando statue in Dubrovnik today. More than 34 Dubrovnik restaurants, pastry shops, and hotels offered the best cakes to their citizens.
Donors were the City of Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik Tourist Board, hotels Hilton Imperial, Friday, Valamar and Excelsior, restaurants Clarissa and Mimosa, City Cafe, Dubrovnik Travel, Department of Public Health, Eco Omblići Association, Green Sun Mokošica, Jelica Kmetovic Hercigonja, restaurants Cele, Ana, Dolce Vita, Gabi, Tajna Veza and Pupica, cake Babin Kuk and thirteen different local media including DuList.
The amount gained in the Old Town is 11,400 kuna. The money will be given to the Cerebral Palsy and Congenital Muscular Dystrophy Association that helps physically disabled people from the Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
