For the editors worldwide Croatian coast is still a ‘never-ending’ topic. This time, CNN decided to choose eleven most beautiful beaches on the Croatian coast, which, as they wrote, became popular among other things due to the series of ‘Game of Thrones’.
Three beaches from Dubrovnik are on this list – St. Jacob (Sveti Jakov), Šunj on Lopud island and Bete’s Cave (Betina špilja).
Sveti Jakov was listed as sheltered and peaceful and an excellent spot enjoy Dubrovnik’s magical sunsets. For CNN, Šunj is ‘a rare example of a sandy beach in Croatia’. Bete’s cave is particulary beautiful because of its shade and because it is not overcrowded.
